Bishop supports the Modern Slavery Garden at the Royal Chelsea Flower Show

The Bishop of London, a Patron of the Modern Slavery Garden at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, has opened  Freedom Street, a joint venture between the flower show and Chelsea Fringe.  Each day of the show, a different anti-slavery charity will use Freedom Street to raise awareness of modern slavery in the UK.

The Modern Slavery Garden has won a gold award in the Fresh Gardens category at the show. It was designed by Juliet Sargeant to celebrate the day Parliament passed The Modern Slavery Act in 2015 and raise awareness of the existence of slavery in modern society.
