The Bishop of London, Sarah Mullally, this month paid tribute to healthcare workers during a trip to the holy cities of Nazareth and Jerusalem.

Bishop Sarah visited staff at St John Eye Hospital Jerusalem, Nazareth Hospital, as well as a trip to St George’s College Jerusalem where she met with Dean Richard Sewell. Revd Sewell was previously a priest in the Diocese of Southwark, and remains Honorary Canon of Southwark.

The Bishop also spent two days meeting staff and trustees at Nazareth Hospital and St John Eye Hospital, which is the only charitable centre for expert eye care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
