Bishop Sarah chairs Social Prescribing Roundtable
On Monday 11th November Bishop Sarah chaired a roundtable discussion in the House of Lords with the Good Faith Partnership, and the National Academy of Social Prescribing (NASP).
Faith leaders from across the major UK religions gathered with senior government officials to call for a collaborative relationship between faith groups and NHS social prescribing providers.
Attendees discussed the importance of faith groups’ abilities to provide palliative care and reducing health inequalities, and the further investment these groups require in order to meet these goals.
