Bishop Sarah in the House of Lords
On Monday 17th October, Bishop Sarah staged two interventions in the House of Lords on health and social care issues.
She contributed to the Second Reading of the Health and Social Care Levy (Repeal) Bill, raising concerns about the sustainability of health and social care funding, particularly in the context of workforce challenges in the NHS.
Bishop Sarah also asked the Government, during the Childhood Obesity debate, for confirmation of when the health disparities White Paper will be published, and what else the Government are doing to reduce inequalities in health.
