Bishop Sarah reflects on Bishops’ Study Day
Yesterday was Bishops’ Study Day. A powerful time of reflection, worship and learning. It was great to hear a keynote from Rowan Williams who reflected on the meaning of hope in a world of uncertainty, offering deep theological insight and practical encouragement for ministry during Advent.
We also heard Why We Sing: Radical Hope at the End of the World from Chine McDonald as she explored how song becomes a prophetic act of courage and solidarity when the world feels fragile.
Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir shared some wonderful worship, leaving everyone with renewed hope for Advent.
