As part of her regular programme of Area visits, the Bishop
of London has visited Stepney Area, the home of the Church of England in the
London boroughs of Hackney, Islington and Tower Hamlets.
Bishop Sarah’s day began with breakfast at St Paul’s Shadwell followed by prayer walk, which took her to the Royal London Hospital, where she saw its helipad and met the chaplaincy team and Chief Executive.
She then visited St Leonards Shoreditch to meet its clergy and was presented St Leonards’ vision for ministry, before travelling to Michael & All Angels Stoke Newington to hear about its racial justice and Windrush projects.
