Celebration of the Queen’s Birthday at Festival of Life
The Bishop of London, Richard Chartres, has led thousands of Christians in prayers marking the birthday of Her Majesty the Queen at the Festival of Life at the Docklands Excel Centre.
The prayers followed a 30 minute address by the Bishop, who previously joined the Festival in 2005 and who returns on this, the Festival’s 20th anniversary.
The Festival is organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), which has congregations in 180 nations. The biannual event attracts up to 45,000 people.
