Bishop Sarah takes part in St James’s Church ‘Chopathon’

On Tuesday, December 24, Bishop Sarah took part in St James’s Piccadilly’s annual ‘Chopathon’.

The ‘Chopathon’ involves staff, volunteers and supportive members of the congregation coming together to peel and chop vegetables for the community Christmas meal that has become a tradition at the Church.

This Christmas, churches across the Diocese of London and the nation will be supporting the poor and the most vulnerable, just as they do every month of the year. From night shelters to hygiene banks, they step in where others cannot or will not.

They will be taking part in these acts in the name of the God of hope, equity and love. Keep them, and the vulnerable they serve, in both your minds and hearts this Christmas.
