The Friends of City Churches, an architectural heritage charity dedicated to preserving the churches found within the square mile of the City of London, has celebrated 20 years of ‘watching’ in City of London churches. The Bishop, who is the charity’s patron, led the service and attendees gave thanks to all 297 volunteers who have watched over City of London churches in the last 20 years helping them to remain open to visitors.
