What is the Bishop of London’s Youth Council? 

The Bishop of London’s Youth Council is an exciting new programme designed to give you a seat at the table within the Church of England in London so that you can make a high-level impact on the issues that matter to you.

Young people are not the leaders of tomorrow, they are the leaders of today. Their insight, thinking and ideas make way for a better church, society and a better tomorrow.  

Paul says to you (young people) “Don’t be intimidated by those who are older than you; simply be the example they need to see by being faithful and true in all that you do. Speak truth and live a life of purity and authentic love as you remain strong in your faith.” 1 Timothy 4v12(TPT) 

The Bishop of London’s Youth council is an embodiment of this scripture. God has placed so much within you, that doesn’t have to wait until you have finished university or started work or start a family. Year One: Plant

Year Two: Cultivate and Grow 

• Discover powerful new ways to serve your community  
• Develop your leadership skills 
• Be Influential 
• Be ready for what the future brings 

All members of the Youth Council will be able to use the experience to enhance their CVs / Personal Statements such that they are able to exceed their expectations for next steps after school.
