Walking With The Wounded carol service

The Bishop again led Walking With The Wounded’s annual Pop-Up Carol Service with the Military Wives Choir and the Honourable Artillery Company Regimental Band on the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral.

The event also welcomed Harry Bucknall and Jock Davis, who completed their 335 mile walk from Coldstream to London. The pair have now successfully raised over £33,000 for Walking With The Wounded’s Walking Home For Christmas campaign.

The Bishop of London said:

“I look forward to joining the Military Wives Choir, the Honorary Artillery Company band and Londoners from every walk of life on the steps of St Paul’s for Walking With The Wounded’s annual pop-carols. As we come together to welcome Harry Bucknall and Jock Davis from their 335 mile journey, we will also be showing our gratitude to our ex-servicemen and our support for the vital work Walking With The Wounded does to help them.”
